I led creative direction and visual system development across all BiT Awards touchpoints.

I was responsible for defining the annual visual strategy, translating narrative themes into scalable identity systems, and ensuring cohesive execution across motion, digital, environmental, and presentation platforms.

This included concept development, system architecture, cross-functional alignment with stakeholders, and final execution oversight to maintain quality and brand integrity across every asset.

APPROACH/PROCESS

Each year began with defining a central narrative theme aligned with organizational priorities and the tone of the awards experience.

From that narrative foundation, I developed a modular visual system designed for flexibility and scalability. The system included a defined hierarchy, adaptable layout structures, and repeatable graphic elements that could extend across multiple formats without losing cohesion.

Throughout development, I collaborated closely with stakeholders to refine direction and ensure alignment between creative expression and program objectives. The final system was deployed across digital communications, motion graphics, presentation environments, and physical event branding to deliver a unified experience.

THE CHALLENGE

The BiT Awards is an annual enterprise recognition program celebrating innovation and impact across The Home Depot’s technology organization.

Each year required a fresh creative identity that felt distinct and aspirational, while still maintaining continuity and brand recognition across the program’s history. The challenge was to evolve the visual language annually without fragmenting the brand. The system needed to scale seamlessly across digital communications, motion graphics, executive presentations, and large-scale environmental applications; while remaining practical for internal teams responsible for deployment.

IMPACT

The BiT Awards visual system established a recognizable and cohesive identity across multiple program years while allowing for annual evolution.

The modular approach improved efficiency in asset deployment and reduced inconsistencies across channels.

The work elevated the perception of the awards program internally, reinforcing its credibility and positioning it as a professionally executed enterprise initiative.
